YAY! You posted it!
It's tragic that she died so soon after childbirth and her son died at 15 years old! He was crowned at NINE! Of course, his 'bastard' stepbrother died at 17, but illegitamate children were not eligible to inheret the throne. It was quite common for kings and queens to have affairs because, usually, thier marriages were arranged. -- "When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there, you will always long to return." -Leonardo da Vinci LOL Jane Seymour always makes me laff, to me it sounds like the name of an actress out of Dallas or Dynasty or something. When you have the likes of Catherine of Aragorn, Ann of Cleaves, Jane just seems to have such a straight and boring name .. maybe she was Jane of Cleathorpes or Lady Jane of Scunthorpe and thought better of it lol (not that Cleathorpes or Scunny are bad places but deffo not as cool sounding as Aragorn :S). I love your lil write ups on these too adds a bit of a background to the picture and what the lady was about
Might just have to do a lil feature once you got them all bagged -- -=d^_^b=- ... The world is listening ... thank you!!
